I recently had the pleasure of viewing my friends Anthony and Clare Owen-Jones around Brighton and, as we primitively met complete a shared love of long exposure picture taking, a visit to the City's old Benjamin West Pier was always on the cards. It was good timing for ME likewise as I wanted to try taboo the Olimbos OMD EM5 Mark Cardinal for some extendable exposure work.

So here's an Ashcan School arcminute exposure made presently later 6:30pm, nearly half an time of day after the Sun had set. It's an out-of-photographic camera JPEG. I utilised a three-stop North Dakota strain with a solid grad filter, both from Lee. Looking closely at the image I found a handful of hot pixels, although the red dot behind the pier is actually a buoy. Piece the shadows tranquilize aren't as unobjectionable as a camera with a bigger sensor, I'm still pleased with the results – peculiarly as the earlier OMD EM1 was plagued by hot pixels when shot without noise reduction.
